Credence Corn

Credence Corn is a fully biodegradable alternative to artificial baits.
It utilises Marukyu’s hybrid technology - with all the performance advantages of Japan’s latest amino acid expertise and the added bonus of a tougher better performing hookbait. Credence Corn is biodegradable and is manufactured using Marukyu’s special processes. The environmentally friendly Credence Corn is packed full of amino acids and scent attraction. The high visibility hook bait, which is available in yellow, white or red, will draw fish in from distance, yet it is virtually indestructible when small fish peck and pull at it. This makes it better than sweet corn itself!

Summary

What is it?
Credence Corn is a fully biodegradable alternative to the highly controversial plastic baits on the market now.

Why is it so good?
Credence Corn is packed full of amino acids that slowly leach out over time. It takes about 12 hours. After that it retains visual appeal.

What happens if a fish eats it?
In the highly unlikely event that a fish actually eats the hookbait, nothing untoward will happen. It is soft and will pass through the fish just like any other food item.

How long does Credence Corn take to biodegrade?
This depends on conditions; Credence Corn is broken down to nothing by bacteria and light. Therefore it is dependent on the conditions and water temperature. In a glass of sterile water and kept in the dark it will take a long time to break down. In a silted pond it will take a much shorter time –usually less time than any pop up or shelf life boilie.

What is Credence Corn made from?
This is a trade secret. The process to manufacture this is very expensive and is rarely seen outside of Japan.

What is the liquid contained in the packet?
The liquid inside the packet is the same complex amino acid mix that is contained in the Credence Corn itself. The corn has to be stored in this to stop it drying out.

Can the corn be put back inside the packet to recharge?
In theory, yes it can. But this may well introduce bacteria into the packet so it is not advisable. This is why Credence Corn is sold in sterile barrier packaging.

Does it float?
Due to the nature of the material used to make Credence Corn, it is not possible to make it lighter than water.

Will the liquid be available as a standalone product?
We prefer to use it in Marukyu products so that they have that special edge over others on the market.

Marukyu – good for fishing and good for the environment.
